Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Russald Medical Center website and associated services provided by MedicalMex. By using this website or submitting any evaluation, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Nature of Services
Russald Medical Center is the licensed medical practice responsible for all clinical services, procedures, and physician-patient relationships. MedicalMex provides non-clinical patient coordination services — including scheduling, pre-travel logistics, communication support, and administrative coordination — and does not practice medicine.
3. Educational Purpose Only
Information published on this website — including procedure descriptions, candidacy guidelines, recovery timelines, and pricing estimates — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No content on this website creates a physician-patient relationship.
4. Free Assessment & Pre-Travel Evaluation
Our Free Assessment tool is an automated pre-screening system based on self-reported information. Results are preliminary only and do not constitute medical clearance, a confirmed candidacy determination, or a treatment recommendation. A positive assessment result means only that your profile meets the general criteria for a further medical evaluation.
5. Pre-Travel Evaluation & In-Person Confirmation
A final medical evaluation by the treating physician is required before any procedure is confirmed. Preliminary assessments and cost estimates are subject to revision based on in-person consultation and clinical findings. All final candidacy determinations and treatment plans are made by licensed physicians at Russald Medical Center.
6. Treatment Design, Consent & Clinical Adjustments
All treatment plans are approved and consented by the patient and physician before any procedure begins. Physicians may adjust a treatment plan based on real-time clinical findings — including anesthesia evaluation, pre-operative lab results, or findings during the procedure itself. Such adjustments are made in the interest of patient safety and require consent when feasible.
7. Patient Rights & Responsibilities
Patients have the right to full information about their procedure, to ask questions, and to seek independent medical opinions. Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information. Medical outcomes vary between individuals; results shown in educational materials or patient stories are not guarantees of the same outcome for any specific patient.
8. Payments, Commitment & Financial Responsibility
A confirmed booking represents a financial commitment to proceed with the scheduled services. Fraudulent dispute or chargeback claims that misrepresent the nature of services provided may result in collection proceedings and be reported to relevant financial authorities. Payment obligations remain in full unless a cancellation is processed in accordance with the Booking & Cancellation Policy.
9. Pricing Structure & Geographic Variability
Pricing for services may vary based on the patient's location, service structure, and any applicable coordination fees. All pricing is quoted in USD unless otherwise specified. Detailed cost breakdowns are provided during the evaluation process before any commitment is required.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by the Booking & Cancellation Policy. Please review that policy before confirming your booking.
11. Travel Compliance and Conduct
Patients are responsible for complying with all applicable travel, immigration, and customs regulations when traveling to and from Mexico. Bringing controlled substances, prescription medications without documentation, or prohibited items across the border is the sole responsibility of the patient.
12. Data, Privacy & AI Use
Russald Medical Center and MedicalMex may use automated systems and AI tools to assist in processing questionnaire responses and preliminary assessments. Data collection and use is governed by the Privacy Policy. Services are conducted in Mexico and governed by applicable Mexican privacy regulations.
13. Limitation of Liability
MedicalMex is not liable for the medical services provided by Russald Medical Center. Russald Medical Center is not liable for outcome variability inherent to surgical or medical procedures when care is delivered within accepted clinical standards. Neither entity is liable for travel disruptions, accommodation issues, or third-party service failures.
14. Right to Refuse Service
Russald Medical Center and MedicalMex reserve the right to refuse, postpone, or discontinue services for any patient whose clinical profile presents unacceptable risk, who does not meet candidacy criteria, or whose conduct is disruptive, abusive, or non-compliant with these terms.
15. Governing Law
All medical services are performed in Mexico and are governed by Mexican law and the regulations of the State of Baja California. Any disputes arising from non-clinical coordination services provided by MedicalMex are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of service delivery.
16. Modifications
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of this website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
